-SIMTOS2012 has been selected as Foreign Trade Fair Participation Program of Germany for five consecutive years!
German is leading country in terms of Machine tool industry, as worlds no. 3 producer and No. 2 exporter (US$ 6,623.6million), consumption. In the last year, German rose to second place in Korean imports, with percentage of US$ 2.4 million out of total US$14.4 million.
This development of machine tool industry has been supported by the German Government's aggressive policy for advancing into the overseas market. Among these support programs, there is the "Foreign Trade Fair Participation Program of Germany" by AUMA, BMWi and BMELV. It offers support to German companies taking part in trade fairs abroad with joint company stands continuously, making it possible to advance into overseas markets.
According to AUMA, nine exhibitions of Machinery around the world were selected for German Government's support Exhibitions. And SIMTOS also was chosen as the only exhibition of the machinery industry in Korea. It was for five straight times supported by the German government since 2004, after it had been chosen in 1992 at first. It has helped increase German companies applying for SIMTOS, showing the scale of 459m² of German pavilion in 2010.
Along with expanding scale to 100,000m², brand pavilions and selected Foreign Trade Fair Participation Program of Germany, it is expected that many more German companies will apply for SIMTOS2012.

Spinoza has clearly explained the doctrine of animal automatism, and shown it to be perfectly conceivable;569 but he has entirely omitted to explain how the parallel influence of one thought (or feeling) on another is to be understood; for although this too is spoken of as a causal relation, it seems to be quite different from the logical concatenation described as the infinite intellect of God; and to suppose that idea follows from idea like movement from movement would amount to a complete materialisation of mind; while our philosopher would certainly have repudiated Mr. Shadworth Hodgson’s theory, that states of consciousness are only connected through their extended substratum, as the segments of a mosaic picture are held together by the underlying surface of masonry. Nor can we admit that Spinoza entertained the theory, now so popular, according to which extension and consciousness are merely different aspects of a single reality. For this would imply that the substance which they manifest had an existence of its own apart from its attributes; whereas Spinoza makes it consist of the attributes, that is to say, identifies it with their totality.
