Experience Composites! The new fibre composite materials trade fair in Augsburg
10/2/2015
In the coming year a new event called "Experience Composites - powered by the JEC Group" will be staged in Augsburg from 21 to 23 September 2016 in a Multi-Location-Format. It is being set up by Messe Augsburg in collaboration with the JEC Group and Carbon Composites e.V. (CCeV).The internationally organised event will be designed to be a showcase for the entire industry, focussing on machinery and plant construction, aviation and space travel, construction and infrastructure, medical technology, wind power, as well as the automotive and transport sectors.
Gerhard Reiter, the managing director of Messe Augsburg, is convinced that the event being staged in co-operation with the JEC Group and CCeV will be a success, " There is no other location in Europe like Augsburg having a market and industry locally catering for lightweight construction, fibre composites and carbon; we benefit greatly from the proximity to Augsburg Innovationspark and from being right next door to Carbon Composites e.V., the most important and largest network in this sector and not least the assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as the Chamber of Crafts in Swabia and other supporters in the region. As a result of our experience in staging specialist events onsite in close proximity to the centre of Augsburg and the high quality staff we having working in customer support, it is quite clear that we offer the very best environment for this event and working together with the JEC Group as a pioneer and leader in this field enables us to access the expertise and the network of the global composites community."
"The Global Composites Industry is growing fast (+5% p.a.), and as an observer and representative of the Industry, we could not help but to notice that this development could only be possible thanks to the close relationship of the Golden triangle made of Government, Industry and Research together with Material Sciences and Engineering. Germany perfectly applies this model in the field of composites materials and is hence a key player in the Composites Industry's global development", says Mrs. Frédérique Mutel, JEC Group President and CEO. "Augsburg is a strong Composites Hub and JEC Group is thrilled to be part of this promising project." Adds Mrs. Mutel.
Alexander Gundling, managing director of Carbon Composites e.V. has this to say, "Having one of the largest networks in the lightweight construction industry, Carbon Composites e.V. and its leading-edge cluster MAI Carbon are supporting the trade fair in Augsburg for two reasons: on the one hand it provides a showcase in which innovative businesses and organisations in this sector can promote their enormous expertise. On the other hand, there is not only a trade congress and a trade fair in Augsburg, but also on-site visits, rounds of discussions and training events. This means that there is an entirely new concept of presentation being displayed and this fits in very well with the innovative character of the industry and the venue."
Augsburg has the best network
More and more lightweight products are becoming ready for mass production across the entire spectrum of industries spanning from machine and plant building to aviation and space travel, to the automotive industry and its subcontractors right up to robotics and construction. Conversely, the modern mass production of reproducible fibre composite components is at times so complex that this can only be managed by a few companies with great difficulty. With the large number of research institutes it has even today, such as the Deutsche Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V. the Functional Lightweight Design Department at the Fraunhofer Institute and firms working on resource-efficiency technology and carbon fibre composite materials, the economic region in which Augsburg is located provides an excellent network which will have a significant addition in the coming year with the "Experience Composites - powered by the JEC Group" Trade Fair.
Augsburg is centrally located in the southern technology axis, one of the trans-European networks, in one of the strongest and highly innovative economic regions in Europe. The booming economic region may be described as undergoing a structural change driven by innovation and expertise, focussing on mechatronics, automation together with fibre composite materials, environmental, information and communication technology.
A Multi Location Event is an innovative event concept
A new and pioneering event concept has been developed for "Experience Composites - powered by the JEC Group", which was co-ordinated at an early stage between a large number of opinion-formers. In addition to the new Composites trade fair, the so-called "Multi Location Format" includes a congress, a visit to the businesses present, scientific institutes, seminars and training sessions and community events at various locations in Augsburg. The aim is to bring fibre composite materials and the entire value creation chain to life by making them transparent and structured so that they become tangible and, in particular, to make newcomers aware of all the potential applications of the material.
Enjoy the cultural and culinary delights on offer in Augsburg
In addition to the above, Augsburg enjoys the special charm of being Germany's second-oldest city. There is plenty to see and do at the margins of the event, starting with a whole string of events sights of interest and cultural amenities and venues right up to strolling around and trying out the restaurants in Maximilianstraße close by in the centre of Augsburg.
And those who so wish, will be coming just at the right time to visit the Oktoberfest close by in Munich straight after the end of trade fair as well!
As the third largest trade fair venue in Bavaria, Messe Augsburg is an economic driver, the effect of which is felt far beyond the borders of Swabia in Bavaria. Augsburg scores with its excellent trade fair venue lay-out and being very accessible from other countries as well, the personal service provided and the attraction of Augsburg as the second oldest city in Germany. Messe Augsburg is a Full-Service-Partner for trade fairs and events. It has 12 halls with a total of 48,000 m2 floor space, an area of 10,000 m2 in the open air, a conference centre, four entrances, the very best transport links plus 2,400 car parking spaces and in the direct vicinity of the Messe Augsburg site there is a very wide range of things to do and see. www.messeaugsburg.de

The Federal's pistol slid into its holster and his sabre flashed out. He threw its curved point up in a splendid salute. Ferry saluted with his straight blade. Then both swords rang back into their scabbards, and Jewett whirled away toward his column. For a moment we lingered, then faced to the left, trotted, galloped. Over the fence and into the road went he--went I. Down it, as we crossed, the blue column was just moving again. Then the woods on the south swallowed us up. "All right, sir." that before. Meanwhile the parallelism between Thought and Extension was not exhausted by the identification just analysed. Extension was not only a series of movements; it still remained an expression for co-existence and adjacency.412 Spinoza, therefore, felt himself obliged to supply Thought with a correspondingly continuous quality. It is here that his chief originality lies, here that he has been most closely followed by the philosophy of our own time. Mind, he declares, is an attribute everywhere accompanying matter, co-extensive and co-infinite with space. Our own animation is the sum or the resultant of an animation clinging to every particle that enters into the composition of our bodies. When our thoughts are affected by an external impulse, to suppose that this impulse proceeds from anything material is a delusion; it is produced by the mind belonging to the body which acts on our body; although in what sense this process is to be understood remains a mystery. Spinoza has clearly explained the doctrine of animal automatism, and shown it to be perfectly conceivable;569 but he has entirely omitted to explain how the parallel influence of one thought (or feeling) on another is to be understood; for although this too is spoken of as a causal relation, it seems to be quite different from the logical concatenation described as the infinite intellect of God; and to suppose that idea follows from idea like movement from movement would amount to a complete materialisation of mind; while our philosopher would certainly have repudiated Mr. Shadworth Hodgson’s theory, that states of consciousness are only connected through their extended substratum, as the segments of a mosaic picture are held together by the underlying surface of masonry. Nor can we admit that Spinoza entertained the theory, now so popular, according to which extension and consciousness are merely different aspects of a single reality. For this would imply that the substance which they manifest had an existence of its own apart from its attributes; whereas Spinoza makes it consist of the attributes, that is to say, identifies it with their totality. We are forced, then, to conclude that the proposition declaring thought and extension to be the same thing570 has no413 other meaning than that they are connected by the double analogy which we have endeavoured to explain. “Oh, he’s welcome to it,” Sandy cried. “I’ve turned over a new leaf!” “But—are they?” He pulled a wire out a trifle from the sheath. The sergeant spent more time upon the oaths with which he embellished the counter-question as to how he should know anything about it, than would have been consumed in a civil explanation. "Doctor, he can't die. He mustn't die," said Shorty in agony. "The regiment can't spare him. He's the best soldier in it, and he's my pardner." AND ENTERS UPON HIS PARENTAL RELATIONS TO LITTLE PETE SKIDMORE. "Holy smoke, look there," gasped Monty Scruggs, as a company of rebel cavalry came tearing over the hill in front, to the assistance of their comrades. "That's about it," answered Shorty disdainfully. "That's the way with all cavalry, dad-burn 'em. They're like a passel o' fice pups. They're all yelp and bark, and howl and showin' o' teeth. They're jest goin' to tear you to pieces. But when you pick up a stone or a club, or git ready to give 'em a good kick they're gone, the devil knows where. They're only an aggravation. You never kin do nothin' with 'em, and they kin do nothin' with you. I never kin understand why God Almighty wasted his time in makin' cavalry of any kind, Yank or rebel. All our own cavalry's good for is to steal whisky and chickens from honest soldiers of the infantry. The infantry's the only thing. It's like the big dog that comes up without any special remarks, and sets his teeth in the other dog. The thing only ends when one dog or the other is badly whipped and somethin's bin accomplished." "Mmm." Reuben started out of the half-waking state into which he had fallen. It was late in the afternoon, the sunlight had gone, and a wintry twilight crept up the wall. Maude the dairy-woman was looking in at the door. It was about a month subsequent to this, that one morning, as Turner was making the anvil ring with the ponderous strokes of his hammer, two retainers from the castle entered the shed, and delivered an order from De Boteler for his immediate attendance. Wat laid the hammer on the anvil, and, passing the back of his right hand across his forehead, to clear away the large drops that stood there, looked with a kind of smile at the men as he said, HoME泷泽萝拉四部和集下载
